Private Eye (Liaisons #1) - S.E. Culpepper 3.5 starsTypical, well executed GFY.Rafe is an idiot. For making the phone call, sure, but mostly for lying about it. What a moron, seriously. And also the going to Jeremy's right after the fight. Let the guy cool down and organize his thoughts, yeah? And the I-ll-be-here-every-day bit... Ughh. Annoying.Jeremy was okay. A little clueless and not curious enough for a cop, but that's forgivable. (But to have virtually no time to check his voicemails all day? What if some of them were work related?)The other characters were likeable. The relationship drama didn't seem contrived. It was mostly of he-dug-his-own-grave variety. The case drama was a bit bloodier than I expected but I didn't care about Yesenia and her lot, so whatever.
